I want a G900 badly =(

Was really undecided… STARHUB or SINGTEL?

Okay… firstly, I’m using a bloody retard cellphone tt i wanna get rid of it asap. Second, my M1 bills are ridiculously high for a very long time. So, i’m gonna TERMINATE it! Yes! although e contract is nt yet over… I can’t stand it la… every mth SGD100 leh…

So, e phone i wan (Sony Ericsson G900) is selling at SGD600+ and the termination fee for terminating my SUPERB m1 line is SGD300… Total: near $1K… jia lat…

But no worries, cuz i terminate M1 i muz sign up new line with either starhub or singtel rite… den i can get e phone cheaper with line… singtel is selline phone at $200+ (with line) plus student get another $50 off… Starhub selling at $400+ (with line also)… so at this point Singtel better.

On the other hand, after reading thru both student plan’s benefit… Starhub is a clear winner. Y? cuz it has FREE UNLIMITED SMS & 200 mins FREE outgg calls… singtel only 500 free sms+500 singtel-singtel free sms & 100 mins free outgg calls…

i was reli v undecisive initially… cuzboth student plans are of the same monthly rate… but starhub offers more benefit n singtel e phone cheaper (a lot)… so how?

haha… den aft studyin my m1 bills… i thot i’d better take starhub… cuz i realised i always exceed 500sms n 100mins of outggcalls… so it would only be wise if i choose starhub for a long term usage instead of takin singtel fora lower price on e handset but end up payin more every mth for bills… den its as gd as using m1 alr…

Also, after asking e starhub ppl… they told me tt they do have promotions from time to time… so i finally decided to endure for awhile longer n lookout for promo coming up…

So my wish nw is… either starhub lower down e price of e phone (when i get it with line) as promo… or singtel revise their plan’s benefits n make it compatible or even better den starhub… YEAH!

Anyway, i’ll summarise la…

JUNE

Still had gastritis, but went on to try HERBALIFE… my classmate CaiFang intro… cuz her fren was takin a kinda milkshake thingy (nt herbalife) to lose weight n it do works. So she told me n we recalled HERBALIFE. Cuz a yr ago we saw some kinda herbalife road show…

I went online to chk e add of Herbalife’s office… den went der wit much excitement… i was v desperate to lose wt lo… cuz tried slimming pills… slimming tea n even went runnin every single day for a whole mth… NO USE!!! okay… i admit i’m rather impatient but i tell u wat, u may nt agree wit me BUT exercising is nt a way to lose weight… it’s gd for health n metabolism but definitely nt for losing pounds…

alright, tts where i met my consultant, Sharon… she’s nw my fren… she’s reli great! i losed 5kg in 2mths (june-aug) under her supervision…. definitely better den slimming centre la… its healthy n cost efficient!!! I LOVE HER & HERBALIFE~

JULY

1. In the mid of losing weight happily.

3. Went WWSS homecomin n met all sweeties… hearts them!

AUGUST

Damn bloody happy tt i hit my 45kg… aft 2 mths… frm 50kg to 45kg… n gastritis + constipation totally improved!

This mth is abit busy cuz too many ppl bday…

• 5 aug – wanqing
• 24 aug – huiwen
• 28 aug – smelly tutu KEVIN
• 31 aug – caifang

lol… i reli enjoy every single day in aug man…

Went clake quay for qing’s n yap’s bday… gg to celebrate kevin’s bday at jumbo east coast… n caifang is havin her 21st bday at aranda country club de chalet… wat a mth packed wit excitement!

Mild Gastritis

I did an Endoscope and discover that I have mild gastritis. Luckily no ulcer cuz actually the doc did the scope to check if there is any ulcer.

The past 1 month is a total torture for me.

Some info about gastritis:

Gastritis is an inflammation of the lining of the stomach. There are many causes of gastritis:

• eating too much or too quickly
• eating high fat foods
• during a period of high stress, or ongoing stress
• being tired
• exercising right after eating
• smoking
• drinking alcohol
• infections, such as the helicobacter pylori and
• reactions to medicines like non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin or ibuprofen

The symptoms of gastritis may include the following:

• upper abdominal pain often made better OR worse by eating
• loss of appetite
• nausea with or without vomiting
• hiccups
• belching of gas
• feeling of fullness or burning in the stomach

So, as you see above… the symptoms… I EXPERIENCED IT FOR ONE WHOLE BLOODY MONTH!

Very irritating and it’s killing me you know… I totally have no appetite and can whole day never eat… only drink plain water… I nearly wanted to commit suicide, i’m not exaggerating, really felt that I would rather die than everyday feeling so ill…

I spent almost 1k on medical treatment… including consultations, medicines and the endoscopy. The endoscopy alone cost S$750+… and it was just putting a scope inside my gastric to see what’s inside and also the testing for H.pylori. Heng it’s negative… (H.pylori is a type of bacteria, researchers believe that H. pylori is responsible for the majority of peptic ulcers).

Although heart pain lar… spent my savings (that i xing ku saved de) on this illness… But bo bian also… health is more impt than anything else…

I finally understand the real meaning of happiness… A millionaire with health problems would not lead his life happily but a poor man with a clean bill of health would be enjoying his life everyday.

I reflected and realised that I was wrong in the past… LOL… Health is above anything. So what you’re pretty? So what you carry LV? So what you have bird nest and abalone everyday? So what you earn big bucks and live in private property? Without a good health, you’re nothing but a miserable person!

I am recovering… and i hope it won’t come back after it’s gone cuz ppl say gastritis do recur…

Creative Software

I really did enjoyed my attachment at Creative Software Pte Ltd, the colleagues are very nice and polite people. I learnt a lot from them, really, they don’t treat you badly just because you are an attachment student. Instead, they appreciated and respect you.

Initially, I thought I was placed to the Creative that was doing MP3… then i knew i was wrong cuz that was Creative Technology and not Creative Software.

Creative Software is a company doing on HR and payroll… I admit that i was actually hoping my attachment to end as quickly as possible but now that I had started my semester with just 2 elective modules + FYP… I wish i could go back to work cuz I’m so damn free everyday… really is meaningless man!

Ha… I’m very happy that I actually gotten Mingli a job as Accounts Assistant at Creative Software and becuz of this, I strongly strongly believe that CONNECTIONS are very IMPORTANT!

Really lor… I mean, you can have whatever big shot certificate from whatever big shot university, be it from local or overseas, but as long as you don’t have the right connection, you’ll have a hard time getting into the company you desire and eventually the position. Of cuz, unless you’re lucky. =)

On the other hand, you can be just a normal graduate and if you have the connection, you get that position! Seriously, hard to believe, but this is the society…

Alright, that’s all… =P

I HATE Gastric!

I very long never blog already…

Why?… Cuz I had this gastric problem… Now still have, though alot better… It was killing me when the pain was here.

At first, I felt pain at the area below chest and above stomach… somewhere at the rib bone area (pained for like 3 days)… Then, I kept feeling bloated and “compressed” at the chest and gastric area… so went to see doctor… he said is gastric got “wind”… but his meds doesn’t really work well on me…

After like one week plus, kevin’s grandma gave me some chinese meds… IT WAS GOOD!

it improved my situation and making me burp… ppl who know me shld know that i don’t burp (i dunno how to)… but now i feel much better letting the “air” out… i dunno how long had it stayed in my gastric… lols… now once in awhile i’ll feel difficulty in breathing… like something stucked at the chest like that…

i was thinkin… why am i so suay… but i really have no one to blame except myself… cuz from young i have this problem of “wind” inside my stomach… den i always never eat on time… skipping meals… sometimes i didn’t eat for the whole day then suddenly very hungry and ate A LOT like can make my stomach explode!

Then, one more problem… I dunno is indigestion or what… i sometimes will vomit out sour-ish fluid (like acidic)… It gets sour-er and sour-er each time… some ppl told me it’s 胃酸… it’s scary…

I also can nv “poot-poot” for like 2-3 days… then when it finally comes… it’s either damn solid with “dots” on it or i’ll experience diarrhoea…

My body really didn’t function well lar… Mingli told me to drink LOADS of water, she believes that I’m lack of water and fruits… and i’m trying to intake as much water as i can now…

I’ll blog about an horrifying nightmare i had before my gastric in the next entry…. wonder if it links to my sickness… quite eerie…

Okay, so next entry would be the CNY holiday trip to Japan… Yea, I know it was damn long ago lar, like 2 months already. It was bcuz I was having my school’s industrial attachment for the past 2 months so didn’t have the time. =O

Happy moments | 5 Apr 08

Hello~ Again, very excited to blog abt this…

5th of April is my actual bday. So, I was the 主角 for that day =p… And am very grateful that my girlfriends celebrated it with me.

The night before Khoo Fang called me and we chatted for 2 to 3 hours? I can’t remember… I know i almost fell asleep. So it’s quite long. We were checking out places (via internet) that we can head for to celebrate my bday…

She actually suggested IndoChine Bar + Restaurent (at Wisma wan) but I thot town area is rather sianz leh. So, after hours of searching on the Net… We decided on Handle Bar at Gillman Village, 1 Lock Road, 108932. It’s an awesome place… You spend plus minus S$20 for a set of western meal and it’s so big a portion that two can share a set, unless you are super hungry (like Gina, she ate a set on her own). What’s more? They provide free-flow of ice water, they just give you a jar and if not enough just ask them to refill…

Not-so-good thing is that it’s “natural” de… Meaning no air-con and you sit beside grass and trees and feed the mosquitoes with your 新鲜 and 热腾腾的 Tomato Juice. =)

BUT, I must emphasise the fact that if you’re with the right people, it can be very fun still.

One of the table is with swinging bench but there were people occupying it when we arrived. After which when they left, two irritating kids happily sat there and swing and swing and swing…. 摇到很大力 somemore…

Shu Yi and Hui Wen, if you are reading this, 不用怀疑, 就是你了!

I was sitting right behind that swinging bench and i was soooo afraid that they might get too excited and swing that thing too hard. I want to celebrate my 21st bday lor…

Okay, enough of complaining… Now comes the best moment… And it was when Khoo Fang and Wan Qing said they wanted to go toilet after eating and came back with a cake! SOOOO SWEET~

I WAS SERIOUSLY TOUCHED!!!

It was an NYDC cake, not cheap… So very happy cuz it means they 重视我. Or is it they themselves want to eat that’s why they bought that? Ha.

Okay, den after that of cuz i very shy cuz they sang bday song loud loud… den ppl from other tables sang even louder (apparently i’m not the only one celebrating bday that day). But i really don’t understand what’s the challenge about? Den girlfriends told me that they were Ang Mohs… Really meh? Ang Mohs also so childish wan ar? Lols… Okay lar, they’re on high spirits and are friendly. =)

We then took some pics lar hor… as usual… and there was this Ang Moh couple who questioned us regarding why chinese girls like to take pics with the ”tweese” handsign. Guess what Khoo Fang told them? She said that we were just acting cute! -_-”’ What the….?!

Den we were wondering, the ”tweese” handsign means vulgarity in some other countries right?
